FEBRUARY 13, 2009
For the hard core fans of Dragon Ball, the live action theatrical version to be released this 2009 is a pitiful remake of the epic anime series. It is a blow not to the great Akira Toriyama himself (even if he probably made millions in royalty), but to the countless anime freaks who have been awed and inspired by this masterpiece. If you ask me, the feeling is mutual. Hollywood really did it this time. It has a caught a bad habit massacring really good stories, then immortalizing them in reels. I call upon the million cohorts of the Red Ribbon Army to launch an all out assault on Hollywood.
